Export DataΒΆ

Export project

Once the project is ready, export it with the Guerilla menu "Export project".

The first time you export your project, Guerilla will ask for a project filename. After that, the project filename will be saved in the GuerillaNode.

Export options :

Merge Option

  • Merge with the previous exported project (default) : export the baked data from maya but keep the work previously done in Guerilla on the project.
  • Replace the previous exported project : export the baked data from maya and export a new project. All the work previously done in Guerilla will be lost.
  • Replace only the baked data : if no objects have been created/deleted in Maya, it is not necessary to export the whole document. Only the baked data will be replaced.

Action After Export

  • Do nothing.
  • Open In Guerilla (default) : Open the exported project in Guerilla.
  • Defferred Render : Render the exported project in local.
  • Submit to the farm : Render the exported project on the render farm.

Frames To Export

  • Current Range (default) : Export the actives frames in Maya.
  • Current Frame Only : Export only the current frame.
  • Custom Range : Export a custom range of frames.

Export bake only

In production, it is useful to export a subset of the scene in order to make a modification without re-export the whole project.

It is possible to export a special bake file for a subset of objects using the "Export bake only" command.

After that, you will have to change the path of the bake file (Geometry Filename) of the objects to update in Guerilla.

Export options :

Objects To Export

  • All : Export all the objects in the scene.
  • Selection (default) : Export only the selected objects.

Frames To Export

  • Current Range (default) : Export the actives frames in Maya.
  • Current Frame Only : Export only the current frame.
  • Custom Range : Export a custom range of frames.
